Opening of the Lab in GIT at the Kyrgyz State University of Geology, Mining and Natural Resources (KSMU)
On the evening of Friday, March 25, 2022, the opening of the new laboratory in Geoinformation Technologies (GIT) was held at the Kyrgyz State Univ. of Geology, Mining and Natural Resources, named after academic U. Asanaliev (KSMU). The event was attended by the Rector of KSMU Professor Akylbek Maralbaev, vice-rectors, European partners, professors of different departments related to Geomatics, as well as stakeholders.
The representatives of KSMU hosted the act at the Mineral Museum of the university in the traditional uniform, and then showed us the new facilities and equipment acquired in the framework of the GeoTAK project, including a fixed-wing and a multirotor drone, multispectral cameras, GPS, a workstation, numerous computers, among other equipment.
