On Friday, March 25, 2022, in the morning, the updated laboratory in Geoinformation Technologies (GIT) at KSUCTA was officially openned. The lab was opened by the Rector of KSUCTA, Professor Abdykalykov Akymbek Abdykalyko and the project coordinator, Luis A. Ruiz, attending also the Erasmus Plus National coordinator, Gulnara Chokusheva, the Rector’s advisor Boronbaev Erkin Kaparovich, Vice-rectors, European partners, professors of different departments related to Geomatics, as well as different local stakeholders and members of the Advisory Board of the project in Kyrgyzstan.
KSUCTA representatives showed the new facilities as well as the new equipment acquired with the financing of the European project, including a fixed-wing drone and a multirotor drone, multispectral cameras, GPS, a workstation and numerous computers, among other equipment.
