These National GIT Research Nodes intend to enhance collaboration between companies working in GIT and related areas with universities and administration. Companies will benefit from new industrial PhDs that will help to solve new applied research challenges through secondments in the industry. This activity is part of project work package 2, Creation of Research Networks, focused on the development of research networks between academy, industry and administration.
The first meeting of the Advisory Board of the Kyrgyz National Node in GIT was held in the facilities of the Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture (KSUCTA), conducted by Dr. Akylbek Chymyrov as project coordinator of KSUCTA.
The Kyrgyz Advisory Board is composed by stakeholders from public and private universities, representatives of public institutions, small, medium and large companies related to engineering and geomatics.
